Craft Perfect Message Using YouTube Analytics

Any good marketing program is going to have relevancy. That is, the content created is going to be relevant to the audience.
This is especially true on YouTube.
The question is, do you know who your audience is that’s watching your YouTube channels?
I’m going to show you how to find out. All you need to do is log in to your YouTube account, click on the views up here which is going to take you to your analytics.
Under analytics, we want to scroll down to demographics and it’s going to show you the percentage of male to female, their age range that’s watching your videos, and the country that they’re in. For Simple Biz Support, I’m targeting male audience, typically between the ages of 18 and 44 who live in the United States.
By making content relevant to this demographic since I know they’re the ones watching my videos, it’s going to make conversion and selling more products that much easier. Check out your YouTube analytics demographics today.

5 Ways To Use Pinterest Analytics To Improve Your Marketing

HashAtIT, The Easy Way To Search Hashtags

To do a search for hashtag, there’s two ways we can go about it: The hard way or the easy way. To me the hard way is going to all the different social media accounts.
As an example, here’s Twitter, I’m going to do video marketing in the search bar. I can go to Instagram and put hashtag video marketing in the search field or I could even go to Facebook and in the search bar at the top, I can put in hashtag and it’s going to give me relevant information. Why not just go toHashAtIt? And what you can do is put your hashtag in and it will search across four different channels for you: Instagram, TwitterFacebook, and Pinterest.
When you put the hashtag that you’re looking for into the system, it’s going to find all the relevant information out of those four social media accounts and put it here on one screen.
Go check out HashAtIt.

Why You Should Pin A Tweet On Twitter

Before I show you how to pin content on your Twitter account, I want to explain the marketing benefit, and that is when you pin content, it’s going to be the very first item that shows up on your feed. As you know, your feed is chronological.
If you don’t pin anything, then whatever your last post was is going to be at the top. That may not be the strongest post.
For me, I want this video that I made introducing myself and explaining what my Twitter page is about and, “If you like what I have to say, make sure you follow me” to be my very first post, therefore I’m going to pin it.
All I need to do is click these triple buttons, click “Pin to your profile page”, verify that you want it done, and boom, it is done. If I refresh my page, that video is now going to be at the top and will always be at the top of my feed until I change it.
You can check out my Twitter page and follow me at https://twitter.com/simpbizsupport

Video: A Marketing Asset With Longevity

When I say video is a marketing asset, what I mean is that it has a longevity. It has a shelf life. Video sticks around and gets you visibility unlike any other form of marketing.
I think one of the big reasons why is because more and more people are looking for video solutions. With more people searching, there’s more of a chance that your content is gonna be found.
Here’s an example. This is a SEO or this is a video I posted back on September 18th of 2013. In the last 28 days ending January 12th 2016, this video has been seen 71 47 times (I was looking in the wrong section when I made the video). This is a piece of content I created back in 2013 and it’s still creating evergreen visibility for me and my brand.
That’s why video is a marketing asset and should be used in your marketing.

How To Tag People In Photos On Twitter

Here’s an example on Twitter where I’ve uploaded an image and I have my content, and I almost ran out of characters, but I wanted to include a person that was actually in this YouTube video that I’m promoting. And the only way I was able to do it was by tagging them in the picture.
The way you do it is just go to your Twitter and click on the camera picture. Go ahead and grab any picture that you like and then go ahead and say, “Hey, who’s in this photo?” And you can start adding people to the photo.
You can add a total of 10 people to a photo at a time and they’ll automatically be part of your Tweet without taking up any of the characters. Now, key thing is don’t go randomly tagging people that aren’t relevant. They should be part of your post.

Website Security: SiteLock Security Services

iPhone App For Better Video

Part of shooting great video is having access to the controls on the camera that you’re using. In case of the iPhone camera, typically, the controls are pretty limited and that’s why FiLMiC has an app that you can download for $9.99 that will give you a immeasurable amount of control that will make your filming that much better.
Not only do they have a website, they’re up on iTunes, obviously, so you can download the app for $9.99. They also have a great YouTube channel that I recommend you checking out, that has some tutorials on how to use the app and also how to improve the quality of your iPhone filming.

Don't Use Auto Responder in LinkedIn - Really, Don't!

When I got up for breakfast this morning, my phone was going off and LinkedIn updates kept on coming through, all these new email messages out of the blue.
What’s really interesting is, they are pretty much all the same information: “Congratulations on the anniversary. Hope you’re doing well.” “Congratulations on the anniversary. Hope you’re doing well.” “Congratulations on the anniversary. I hope you’re doing well.” You may buy in to automation as a great way to make your life easier. The big question is, how does it affect your credibility? I know these people are using an autoresponder, and what’s even worse is they’re using the default message that they were given, they didn’t even automate it and up here is one that actually broke and it sent me the same message three times in the same email.
My response is, please don’t use an autoresponder, especially on LinkedIn.

How To Add Call To Action To FaceBook Video Upload

Call to action (CTA) are a great marketing tool, and they should be used at the end of every video that you upload on Facebook because it prompts the user to do something.
Here’s an example of a “Call to action” for one of my videos that will direct you to my YouTube channel. Let me show you how I did this. When you upload a video on your business Facebook page, this is the screen you’ll see. And down here on the bottom right hand corner is your call to action. You can do nothing. You can create a link to shop now, learn more, sign up, download or watch more.
Personally, I like the learn more or watch more. What you’ll need to do is put a URL in. For me, I’m going to use my YouTube channel ’cause I want people to see more of my videos, and then there’s a short description. Fill out a compelling reason why they should check it out and click “Publish”, and that’s how you add a CTA or a “Call to action” to your Facebook videos.

How To Add A User To A WordPress Website

To add a user to your WordPress website, the first think you'll need to do is log in. You'll need to also have administrative rights in order to add a user. Now, on the left-hand side, click on User. And at the top, go ahead and click on Add User. You'll need to give them a user name that will not change, it's permanent. Add an email, their first and last name, and website, if you'd like.

If you have a current version of WordPress, it will automatically create a password and then you can check this box and it will automatically send the account information to the user. Now, the one thing that you want to be careful of is the roles. You have a number of different options down here, and I'll include a link to WordPress that will actually tell you what access the individual roles have.

All you need to do when you're done is click Add New User and it's all taken care of.

Why Use A Teleprompter When Shooting A Video Blog?

A teleprompter is a great tool for shooting large amount of text, or if you need to have very specific information that you’re not able to memorize. Essentially, you need the camera behind the teleprompter, a teleprompter, and also a screening device, such as an iPad, or in this case my Samsung. Let me go ahead and set this up and show you how it works.
A teleprompter works by reflecting the image off of your iPad into the glass. The cameras behind the glass is enabled to shoot through or see through it without the text showing up. To give you a better example, let me put the hood on, and you’ll see the true effect. Now this teleprompter is fully set up. I have the tablet functioning, I have the camera behind the tablet, and I have the hood on so it’s blocking all the light, making it really easy to see the text. The only thing you need to do is add the text to your document, and you’re ready to rock and roll. By this way, this teleprompter was only $135 on Amazon.

Marketing With Infographics Is Smart

To convey the importance of infographics and why I use them in my business, I found an infographic for you. And there’s two points here that I want to touch on.
One is that there is a major difference in the way in which the brain processes images and text. Images are processed simultaneously versus text that is processed in a sequence. Visuals are able to be processed 60,000 times faster than text.
Then if you look at the actual stats from a marketing point of view, in just over two years, infographics search volumes have increased by over 800%. That means people are searching for infographics, and publishers who use infographics grow in traffic an average of 12% more than those who don’t. And then you can check out all these great tweets and buzzes, and all this kind of great stuff.
I’m going to include the link to this infographic so you can check it out yourself. Here is the link:http://goo.gl/wkp1mE

Three 2016 Website Resolutions You Want To Keep

How Many Post on Pinterest Daily?

Like other social media channels, Pinterest is a very powerful tool when you’re targeting the right audience, especially now that they have their visual search tool.
The big question becomes, “How often do I post on Pinterest?” Well, just like any other marketing, the more consistent you are, that is always going to work in your favor. With Pinterest, the sweet spot seems to be about five times daily.
Now, the big question to you is, “What is your audience looking for?” The only real way you’re going to know is by testing yourself. Try it for a day. Try it three a day. Maybe even try nine a day, and see if there’s a change in the way people interact with you over time. And that’s going to be the best way to determine how often you should post on Pinterest daily.

How Does Facebook Post Length Affect Click Through

Get SEO Backlinks From YouTube

In order to get SEO backlink exposure from your YouTube channel, it’s really important that you do this one thing. That is – include the http:// before your website. Let me show you what I mean down here in the description of this video.
You’ll notice when I’m hovering over these two links, only one of them is turning blue and is a link. The first one is not because it’s missing the http: //.
In order to make it clickable in YouTube description, you must include the http. Do not just type ‘www’, otherwise people are going to have to copy and paste. Which we already know most people aren’t going to take the time and energy to copy and paste, they simply want to click.
Make sure you check your video descriptions and have a backlink to your website, including http://.

Royalty Free Music For YouTube Video

One of the easiest places to find royalty music is on YouTube. You don't want to get sued for using somebody else's music that you didn't have rights to. In order to do so, all you need to do is click on "Video Manager" and then edit on the video that you want to add the music to.

From here, you're going to click on "Audio" and on the right-hand side are a number of tracks. If I click on "Dreamland," the Dreamland music is going to start playing, which I've muted since I'm doing an educational video. There's a cool little slider down here that you can actually adjust how loud the music is versus the original audio in the video. Once you're all done, I recommend saving as a new video, that way you still have your original video to go back to, already uploaded if you want to make any changes.

That's how you add royalty-free music on a YouTube video.
